Incidents in SK-NMVS

An incident occurs when a specific identifier is verified or deactivated, either by the MAH-a, the distributor or the pharmacy. Incidents that may arise in a system are categorized according to their severity level from level 1 to 5. In particular, this procedure deals with the most serious incidents that may indicate a suspicion of a false packaging of the drug in the distribution chain, and that is level 5 (so-called process incidents).


Altogether 11 different types of process incidents with category 5 (level 5) can arise in the system, which generate automatically generated reports for EMVO, SOOL and MAH and in some cases directly for NCAs.
